Fire Extinguishers
As well as providing you with the
highest quality of fire training we also supply and maintain
fire extinguishers. All of our fire extinguishers are supplied
to BS EN3 standards and carry a 5 year guarantee if maintained by
us. The range of fire extinguishers we offer include:

Dry Riser Testing and Maintenance
Dry Risers are a vital piece of fire protection equipment for buildings above 18 metres. They play a critical role in delivering considerable quantities of water in a high rise building. They can however be prone to serious neglect and vandalism so it is important to have them regularly maintained and serviced. Independent Fire Services engineers will carry out a full annual wet pressure test and six monthly visual check to the current British Standard Code of Practice BS9990:2006 using our own dry riser testing appliance.

Fire Hydrant Maintenance
British Standard BS9990:2006 states that where a fire hydrant exists on your premises, arrangements should be in place by the owners or occupiers for annual maintenance.

Independent Fire Services was founded by Dominic Cook in 2002. We are staffed by ex Fire Brigade personnel with many years experience in the fire industry. We provide our services to small to medium sized companies and large blue chip companies to ensure the safety of their staff and comply with government legislation.
