Risk Assessment
This full 1 day course is designed for those people with a responsibility for fire risk management. This comprehensive course covers all aspects of fire safety awareness, legal responsibilities and related law, risk assessment principles and risk assessment methods.The course is delivered by our highly qualified and knowledgeable training consultants who are experts within the fire engineering field.

The core aspects of the course are: Fire Safety Awareness:
This module will cover aspects such as building safety, active and passive design measures, firefighting equipment ignition sources and fire spread. We will also discuss the preventative measures that can be taken by all your staff to reduce the risk of fire outbreak.

Legislative Requirements
This module looks at the legal requirements imposed upon your company in terms of fire safety, fire risk assessment and the staff training function. We also include the impact of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) in terms of effective risk management.

Risk Assessment Principles
This module explores the basic principles of risk assessment. We will discuss the terms hazards, accident theory and risk assessment. Using proven risk management practices we introduce delegates to the principle of risk assessment and the Employers Guide and other guidance documents to effective assessment.

Risk Assessment Samples
This final section allows the delegates to carry out a sample risk assessment using our sample methods. We will demonstrate simple risk assessment recording to the most complex recording available today.

A course certificate is awarded on completion.The delegate rate includes all course materials and costs. These courses can be designed for on-site company training if desired.
